From the Southwell & Nottingham Diocesan Website:

This year, alongside Bishop Paul’s Christmas message, we are pleased to share a new parable short film created to reach out to audiences far and wide. At a time of year when our screens are filled with amazing Christmas adverts inviting us to buy delicious food and exciting gifts, this film offers something different. Rather than selling, it seeks to show you something.

The story of the Prodigal Son is one of Jesus’ most well-known parables, and its invitation to ‘come home’ is a compelling one, especially at Christmas. Wherever we find ourselves in this season, we are invited to find our true home with God, because God made his home with us. Our hope and prayer is that the Holy Spirit will work through this film and through Bishop Paul’s message, sharing that invitation to come home with everyone who watches.

Click on the links below, and as you watch, we hope you catch a glimpse of God’s deep love for you, the Good News of Jesus and the warm welcome that you can receive at a church near you this Christmas.
